Barnshaws Section Benders has seen its Hamilton Branch recognised in a Scottish Parliament motion, which highlighted its exceptional contribution to industry in the area. The motion was raised by Margaret Mitchell MSP after a visit to the facility, who was eager to congratulate the business on ‘achieving 23 years of successful trading in Hamilton’.

Barnshaws steel sculptures feature in current UK passport design
Two UK landmarks created using steel formed by Barnshaws Section Benders have seen recognition in the current UK passport design. Antony Gormley's 'Angel of the North' and the ArcelorMittal Orbit, designed by sculptor Sir Anish Kapoor and engineer Cecil Balmond, are included alongside other famous British cultural and technological landmarks from throughout history in the latest passport to be released by HM Passport Office.

Rolled steel from Barnshaws Polska used for giant retail sign
A new giant retail sign in Hungary has been erected using steel fabrication expertise from Barnshaws Polska. The expert metal bending and fabrication company used 40 tons of precision rolled steel cylinders and cones to construct a tapered column to support the huge triangular sign structure. A company from Budapest was the main contractor and chose Barnshaws due to a track record of supplying curved structural steel sections, pipes and tubes to many of Europe’s largest construction projects.

Barnshaws creates ‘liquid’ metal curves for Corby heritage sculpture
A new stainless steel sculpture to celebrate the heritage of Corby has been fabricated and precision curved by metal bending experts, Barnshaws Section Benders. The ‘Sundew Sculpture’ designed by renowned artist John Atkin, was opened on the 20th January 2017 outside Corby train station, with it’s geometric complexity paying homage to Corby’s steel industry and the town’s passion for music.
