Key Features

  • Barnshaws are happy to operate on either complete supply inclusive of material or on a free issue basis with or without cutting services.
  • Bending capacity covers materials up to 80 mm thick.
  • Section lengths up to 12 meters giving flexibility of design.
  • 1000 tonne capacity
  • Profile bending to a wide range of dimensions.
  • Special profiles to suit customers' specific requirements.
  • Typical Industries served structural, construction, architectural, chemical, petrochemical, marine, transport, leisure and defence.
  • Any size order is achievable.
  • A completely controlled and recorded process.

MATERIALS CAPABLE OF BEING COLD FORMED INCLUDE:

  • Structural, fine grained, marine, high yield and off shore grade steels ie S275 & S355
  • Pressure vessel steels and alloy steels such as P265GH & A387.
  • Austenitic and martensitic stainless steels such as grades 304, 316L & 410.
  • Duplex and super duplex stainless steels such as UNS S31803 & UNS S32760.
  • Hardox and HB Wear resistant materials.
  • Treadplate carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminium.
  • Corrosion resistant and high temperature alloys and super alloys (Ni, Cr , Mo etc).
  • Exotic materials such as monel and titanium.
  • Personal protection, vehicle protection and submersible shell materials.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
