Location

Branches are geographically spread around the UK to help reduce the transport costs. West Midlands, Manchester and Hamilton, Scotland are the locations. All have slightly different bending facilities to meet the local market needs.

Technology

The equipment used for bending is the most advanced of it's kind in the world. Tooling has been developed over many years to virtually eliminate distortion of the section when bending. If you have a critical application where section integrity is important Barnshaw's should be your choice of curved steel supplier.

The company is technologically advanced in all aspects from customer communication and work administration to computer controlled bending and cutting.

Capacity

Capacity in each of the specialist services covers the whole range from very small sections and thin plate up to huge sections 1000 mm in size and plates up to 100 mm thick. Our production system is modern and efficient. Small orders for two rings can run along side large multi million-pound call off orders.

The worlds largest projects have used Barnshaws services including most major airports and transport projects, stadia, commercial buildings and civil engineering projects.

Enviromental

Barnshaws Group always meets all current environmental legislation and continuously reviews this at board level. Almost all waste is re-cycled. Absolutely no hazardous materials are used in our processes.

Quality

Barnshaw Section Benders holds the ISO 9001 - 2000 standard. Objectives are set to continuously improve lead times, efficiency and reliability. Our current quality achievement is 99.6% accurate. This far exceeds other suppliers of curved steel in the UK.
