We are proudly announcing that specialists at Barnshaws had the pleasure of working on an important project of two pedestrian bridges reconstruction. Both bridges at the River Nene at Chester House, Little Irchester, Wellingborough, have been destroyed during an arson attack in 2015. The rebuilt bridges will allow people to connect with the historic side of the area.
For this project, we bent more than 200 various elements such as box sections (SHS 140x140x5), beams (UB X-X Axis) and flats.
Greg North, Commercial Director at Barnshaws, comments: “Our Company has a lot of experience in the construction of steel bridge elements, so we accepted the order from Beaver Bridges Ltd with confidence. We understand the complex nature of bridges and how important it is that all elements are made of the highest quality, ensuring maximum safety for users. That is why we always do our work according to the highest standards as we are members of The Register of Qualified Steelwork Contractors Scheme for Bridgeworks (RQSC).”
