Beam Welding
Beam Welding is a new service offered by Barnshaws. The introduction of new equipment is part of Barnshaws strategy to provide high-quality, customisable and adaptable construction components with short lead times.
Beam Welding Information
The manufacturing capacity at Barnshaws’ dedicated facility has been enhanced with the arrival of a new semi-automated submerged arc T & I welding machine to further support customers in the oil and gas, structural, general engineering and machinery industries.

Elevation
Length 30 metre maximum - Camber up to 150mm
Welding
Fillet welds (deep penetration) 6, 8, 10mm leg length preferred, partial and full penetration butt welds by arrangement. All welding is carried out by submerging arc process.
