Barnshaws Section Bending have a requirement for a CNC Plasma Cutting Machine Operator to join our team based at Anchor Lane, Coseley, West Midlands, WV14 9NE. We specialize in the services of Press Braking, Plate Rolling, Welding, and Cutting from carbon and stainless steel.
Key responsibilities:
- Program and operate CNC plasma profiling machine
- Read work orders and plan work sequence
- Set controls for speed, feed rate depth and angle
- Handle and move materials and pieces
- Cutting and removal of scrap material
Required Experience:
- 2 years’ operating CNC equipment and CNC plasma tables
- Must be able to read technical drawings
- Organized with an attention to detail
- Maintains accurate and detailed inventory data
- CAD knowledge helpful but not required
- The ability to prioritise tasks and adopt a flexible approach to working methods
- The ability to work within a team environment
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm
- Friday 6.00am – 1.00pm with
- Possible overtime
