Quality stainless steel section and plate bending
Barnshaws have a completely carbon free area, for the manufacturing of stainless steel bends. Bending polished stainless steel tubing does not cause any problems.
Plates are curved on hardened chromium CNC plate rolls and handled with nonferrous lifting equipment. Sections are rolled on Nylon rolls.
Joints can be tack welded in the appropriate grade, clamped, left open tor fully welded to EN/ASME standards to suit your requirements.
Saving material for bending
As the cost of stainless steel is high considerable savings can be made using Barnshaws Metal Bending. Most plate needs no extra material. Many sections can be bent with out the need for extra material. Specially developed programming enable the machines to roll very close to the end of the bar.

The standard service for stainless steel bending is 5 working days to your works. Upon request we can turn around work in 24, 48 or 72 hours. Stainless steel tube benders lead time is usually 3 working days for free issue material.
