Barnshaw Profiles offers a modern and sophisticated profiling service, ensuring you the customer receives a professional and competitive service, and most importantly-accurate profiles.

Our purpose built profiling departments comprises the following cnc controlled machinery: -

• 1 x 12,000 x 4,000 High Definition Twin Head Plasma.

Maximum Material Thickness 64mm Carbon/50mm Stainless.

• 1 x 18,000 x 5,000 Twin Head Plasma.

Maximum Material Thickness 30mm Carbon/20mm Stainless.

• 1 x 18,000 x 5,500 Six Head Flame Cutter.

Maximum Material Thickness 200mm Carbon.

• 1 x 12,000 x 3,200 Laser Cutter.

Maximum Material Thickness 15mm Carbon.

At Barnshaw Profiles we use the very latest Lantek Cad/Cam programming software, ensuring maximum material utilization. In addition we use Solidworks 3d and AutoCad 2d cad packages, enabling us to produce any shape, and import multiple file types, including dxf, dwg, dstv and iges.

Also we offer a full development service of standard shapes such as cones, lobster backs and square-to-rounds. We work with clients to meet their exact requirements and suggest viable alternatives, saving time and money.

Porthole Beams

• For aesthetic appearance adding art and design to structures.

• To provide an opening for ducting and services.

• Holes can be cut to customer's requirements regarding the number of holes, the pitch and the diameter. Also any shaped hole can be cut.

• Porthole beams, we believe, is an economic solution for beams up to 610mm deep.

Shearing

Capacity

Barnshaws has 2 shearing machines. Capacity up to 8 Metres long and up to 15mm thick for Mild Steel, and Stainless Steel up to 6 Metres long and up to 10mm thick.
