Capacity range

Barnshaws' capacity range includes tubes up to 20" (508mm), rectangular hollow section up to 500 x 300, square hollow sections up to 500 x 500, beams up to 610 wide and channels up to 430 wide. No other company in the world offers such a range of sections / unusual forms.


Quality

Barnshaws induction bending services is audited by BSI to the standard of ISO9001-2008. We work with Lloyds on many pipe bending projects for third party approval.

Our in-house testing facilities include, Ultrasonic thickness checking, surface hardness testing of the bend area and ovality / dimension reports and X-ray analysis


Additional Services

Saw cutting and weld preparation, hydrostatic testing, pipe cleaning and coating are all additional services that can be provided.


Non-Ferrous section bending specialists

If requested, Barnshaws will guarantee your section or tube will be free from contamination on our site, providing it is protected upon arrival. Specialist tooling and handling equipment are used.

Bending for structural applications meets N.S.S.S tolerances. Section Bending for petrochemical applications meet ASME standards.

Induction pipe bending is typical for this type of bending. Large pipes can be bent for a variety of markets including oil and gas pipeline, nuclear and petrochemical industries. Tighter radius' can be achieved with little cross sectional deformity.
