Occupational health & saftey policy

It is the policy of Barnshaws Steel Bending Group to demonstrate an ongoing and determined commitment to the improvement of Health and Safety standards throughout the organisation.

The Barnshaws Steel Bending Group will carry out its activities in a way, which provides healthy and safe working conditions for those involved in and affected by its activities by integrating Health and Safety into all its activities.

Health and Safety is on every Agenda of Barnshaws Steel Bending Group board meetings, is regularly reviewed by each branch and its safety representatives.

Each branch has in place management systems to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and achieve continual improvement in health and safety standards by constant review and sharing Good Practice Initiatives.

Whilst primary responsibility for health and safety rests at Board level, every employee has health and safety responsibilities and is required to comply with Barnshaws Steel Bending Group policies.

Appropriate information, training and supervision will be provided to ensure that all employees are competent to carry out their duties and responsibilities and are committed to implementing this policy.
